North Star Program
Outpatient Substance Rehabilitation
The North Star Program is designed to help you start and stay on your path to recovery. Our outpatient substance rehabilitation program includes a combination of group, individual, and family therapy sessions that focus on navigating the stages of recovery, approaching challenges, and helping families heal and learn support methods. Our programs are available both in-person and through telehealth and are available day and evening.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
PHP is the most intensive level of care we offer which is 5 days a week and allows for a smooth transition from inpatient or detox. It is also ideal for those who may not qualify for inpatient treatment to provide them with the frequency and stability they need.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
IOP meets 3 times per week and provides the psychoeducation and support that is needed in early recovery while the individual still maintains their daily routine with work and residing at their own residence or recovery house.
General Outpatient Program (GOP)
GOP meets once or twice per week and is our least intensive level of care. It is designed for those who have already completed PHP and IOP and have established support in their recovery community.
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
MAT is an evidence-based practice which uses medications combined with counseling and behavioral therapies to support an individual with achieving lasting and sustained recovery. These medications assist in the reduction of cravings, prevention of overdoses, and even blocking the effects of certain substances. These medications have been proven to be particularly beneficial to those struggling with alcohol and opioid use disorders. With the current Opioid Crisis in the U.S., MAT has become a vital piece in the effective treatment of opioid addiction and has been proven to greatly reduce the number of overdose deaths.
We believe that all family members should have the opportunity for therapy. Substance dependence is a confusing disease, and family therapy can help important people in your life understand your struggles and learn how to support you best. It also gives them a setting to share how it has affected them. We offer family services to family members identified through the assessment process as having a significant role in your life.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
We help you challenge and change cognitive behaviors, improve emotional regulation, and develop personal coping strategies to solve problems without returning to substance use.
Substance abuse recovery is a long journey, so we recognize, encourage, and celebrate your successes along the way.
Any change is intimidating, and seeking treatment for substance use issues is no different. We help you resolve doubts about treatment efforts so you can embrace the positive changes you’d like to see in your life.
Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy
We help you understand your thoughts, develop better habits, think in more positive and rational ways, and gain healthier emotional regulation.
12-step Community Facilitation Therapy
We introduce you to the 12-step recovery community. This will give you a place to meet and find support in other people sharing your struggles outside our treatment program.
