North Star Program
Outpatient Substance Rehabilitation
The North Star Program is designed to help you start and stay on your path to recovery. Our outpatient substance rehabilitation program includes a combination of group and individual therapy sessions that focus on navigating the stages of recovery, approaching challenges, and helping families heal and learn support methods.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
We help you challenge and change cognitive behaviors, improve emotional regulation, and develop personal coping strategies to solve problems without returning to substance use.
Substance abuse recovery is a long journey, so we recognize, encourage, and celebrate your successes along the way.
Any change is intimidating, and seeking treatment for substance use issues is no different. We help you resolve doubts about treatment efforts so you can embrace the positive changes you’d like to see in your life.
Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy
We help you understand your thoughts, develop better habits, think in more positive and rational ways, and gain healthier emotional regulation.
12-step Community Facilitation Therapy
We introduce you to the 12-step recovery community. This will give you a place to meet and find support in other people sharing your struggles outside our treatment program.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
An outpatient treatment program for individuals who require a higher level of care than standard outpatient care is able to provide. Individuals in PHP receive comprehensive treatment services such as Psychoeducation and processing groups as well as individual and family sessions but reside at their own home or a local recovery house.
We believe that all family members should have the opportunity for therapy. Substance dependence is a confusing disease, and family therapy can help important people in your life understand your struggles and learn how to support you best. It also gives them a setting to share how it has affected them. We offer family services to family members identified through the assessment process as having a significant role in your life.
Our Family Education Program runs continuously on a four-week cycle and repeats after session four. This service is held in the evenings at 7 pm each Wednesday.
If the substance use disorder reaches a crisis level, we may recommend families attend a more intensive family service.
